One more nail in the Ryzom coffin
MMOs seem to be caught in some bad spell ( get it? ) since October of last year and it doesn’t look like it‘s going to stop any time soon. From that point on we’ve had at least one MMO head to that big server in the sky and this month’s second victim is Ryzom, the first one being Myst Online. The Saga of Ryzom has been in trouble because of it’s owners since November of '06 but it looks like this time around there isn’t going to be a last minute save like it’s gotten a couple of times before. Servers are being shut down and there is no information about them being brought back any time soon. There is always a sliver of hope that something might be pulled off at the last second but I suggest to the population of this game that they start looking into some of the new MMOs that are coming soon that show real promise. Age of Conan just assured players that the game will have nipples… that sounds good, right?
