Extra! Extra! There will be nipples in Age of Conan! There will be nipples!

There was big flip out on Tuesday on the AoC boards when a Community Manager made a post informing us on the “final say” on the rating for the game. The post said that the US version of Conan would be rated M for mature but it will not include nipples on naked female breasts. People quickly complained for having the need to include an accurate depiction of graphical boobies because the game ended up being rated M, what’s the point of getting that rating and not using it? Luckily in less than a day we got a correction and nipples will in fact be shown whenever we see virtual bosoms in the Age of Conan.

In the end it isn’t really about using the rating but keeping the spirit of the source material. When Robert E. Howard was creating the world of Conan in the 1930’s I’m sure that he was thinking that when some one would eventually create a massively multiplayer video game about Conan they should include nipples when boobies would be shown.
